Simon M. Kihia was appointed by Lands Commissioner Peter Goldmark as the designee for Department of Natural Resources to the Shorelines Hearings Board in March 2009. Simon heads the Environmental Review and Analysis Section of DNR and has worked in Natural Resources in both public and private sector for over 27 years. Simon is a Forestry graduate from University of Nairobi Kenya in 1981. He also holds a MSc degree in Wood Science as well as a Masters in Natural Resources Management from University of Toronto, Canada.
