Dr. Myhr resides on Lopez Island. He is a member of the San Juan County Council, 2005-present. A Washington resident since 1965, he has held positions in higher education, forest products industry management, and nonprofit organizations. Dr. Myhr is a graduate of Amherst College and a Fulbright Scholar. He earned his MA and PhD at Columbia University in economics and public law and government.
